By creating an account or using VerifyMe+ services, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use VerifyMe+. By using our platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Verification Requirements

• Submit valid National Identification Number (NIN)
• Provide accurate employment history and references
• Upload authentic documents and photographs
• Cooperate with our verification processes

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without authorization
• Manipulate trust scores or reviews
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Circumvent security features or verification processes

5. User Content

5.1 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for content you submit, including profile information, reviews, reports, and documents. You represent that you own or have rights to all content you provide.

5.2 License to VerifyMe+

By submitting content, you grant VerifyMe+ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform for the purpose of providing our services.

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate, without notice.

6. Premium Services

• Premium subscriptions grant access to additional features
• Payments are non-refundable except as required by law
• Subscription auto-renews unless cancelled
• We may modify pricing with 30 days notice

7. Verification Services

Our verification services include:

• NIN and BVN verification through authorized providers
• Document authenticity review by our admin team
• Guarantor verification for domestic staff
• Trust score calculation based on multiple factors

Important: While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee employment outcomes or the absolute accuracy of all verification data. Users should conduct their own due diligence.

8. Reviews and Ratings

• Reviews must be based on actual experiences
• Reviews must be honest, fair, and factual
• No defamatory, abusive, or discriminatory content
• We may remove fraudulent or malicious reviews
• Users can dispute unfair reviews through our process

9. Intellectual Property

All platform content, features, and functionality (including design, logos, text, graphics, and software) are owned by VerifyMe+ and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy of all user-provided information
• Employment outcomes or successful hires
• Absolute prevention of fraud or misconduct

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VerifyMe+ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through account settings. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
