VerifyMe+ offers both free and premium features:
- Free: Search database, view basic profiles, create your own profile
- Premium: Reveal contact information, submit reviews, and access full verification details
When a user submits their National Identification Number (NIN), we verify it directly with the NIMC database. We check that the NIN is valid, matches the person's name and date of birth, and compare photos. Our admin team reviews the verification results to ensure accuracy. This process helps confirm the person's identity and provides an extra layer of trust.
For Staff & Service Providers
Creating a profile is easy:
- Sign up with your email and phone number
- Choose your category (Domestic Staff or Handyman)
- Fill in your personal details, experience, and skills
- Submit your NIN for verification
- Add employment history and guarantor information
- Upload professional documents and certificates
Yes, you can edit most of your profile information. However, after NIN verification, your name and photo are locked to prevent fraud and maintain trust. If you need to update these fields, please contact our support team with valid documentation.
Your Trust Score is calculated based on:
- ✓ NIN verification status
- ✓ Guarantor verification
- ✓ Employment history completeness
- ✓ Professional documents uploaded
- ✓ Positive reviews from employers
- ✓ Profile completeness

For Employers
Use our search feature to find staff by name, phone number, NIN, location, or skills. You can filter by staff type, verification status, trust score, and more. Click on any profile to view their complete information including verification status, reviews, and employment history.
Premium users can leave reviews on staff profiles. Visit the staff member's profile page and click "Leave a Review." Share your experience, rate their performance, and help other employers make informed decisions. Reviews must be honest and based on actual working relationships.
Safety & Security
Yes! We take security seriously. All data is encrypted, and sensitive information like NIN is stored securely. Contact information is only revealed to premium users. We comply with Nigerian data protection regulations and never share your personal information with third parties without your consent.
Use our "Report" feature on any profile or business listing. Provide detailed information about the incident, including evidence if available. Our admin team will investigate promptly and take appropriate action. You can also report scams through our dedicated scam reporting system.
